Hunter Hotel Advisors arranges sale of Atlanta Homewood Suites

Hunter Hotel Advisors oversaw the sale of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta-Galleria/Cumberland. Artemis Hotel Group acquired the asset for an undisclosed price on June 24. Other details of the transaction were not disclosed. Hunter’s Tim Osborne, senior vice president, and Chase Perry, senior associate, represented the institutional seller.

“Artemis Hotel Group is excited to add another wonderful asset in our home town, serving the upscale extended-stay guest in one of the most vibrant submarkets in Atlanta," Will Watson, CEO and managing principal of Artemis Hotel Group, said in a statement.

Located in the Cumberland submarket of Atlanta, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta-Galleria/Cumberland is less than a mile from The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use development with retail, office and residential space along with Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. Further driving corporate and leisure demand is the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, The Home Depot headquarters, Akers Mill Square and the Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Less than a mile from the Interstate 75 and 285 junction, guests have easy access to Atlanta’s other popular areas such as Downtown Atlanta, Midtown and Buckhead.

The 124-key Homewood Suites has a sports court, fitness center and outdoor pool. In-house dining includes complimentary breakfasts and evening socials.
