Located in historic east Texas, the Hyatt Regency Conroe hotel has opened. Hyatt Regency Conroe is close to Historic Crighton Theater, Lone Star Monument and Historic Flag Park, as well as local breweries, shops, restaurants and more. It is near from Lake Conroe and Sam Houston National Forest. Hyatt Regency Conroe is 30 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
“Conroe is a key business and leisure destination, and Hyatt Regency Conroe will add an important new premium full-service option for travelers visiting the Texas Piney Woods in historic east Texas," General Manager Roberto Intriago said in a statement.
Hyatt Regency Conroe has 250 guestrooms, including 13 suites and 11 accessible rooms, with complimentary Wi-Fi, modern bath amenities like Smart Mirror featuring ideal lighting and 65-inch flat screen televisions with streaming capabilities.
The contemporary hotel has a variety of dining options reflecting local and fusion cuisine. Avenue A is the hotel's lobby bar and lounge and Conroux is the hotel’s full-service restaurant. At Conroux, indoor and outdoor seating options will be available, as well as private and semi-private dining rooms for intimate events and special occasions. The hotel has a 24-hour market with a coffee shop.
Hyatt Regency Conroe’s food and beverage program will be led by Executive Chef Christian Brady with support from an experienced culinary team. Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Conroe, Chef Brady served in culinary positions at several other Hyatt properties, including Grand Hyatt Washington D.C., Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa, and Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa.
With two ballrooms and six meeting rooms, Hyatt Regency Conroe can host large-scale events and group meetings with more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The hotel’s 14,000-square-foot Regency Ballroom has room to host events for up to 1,000 attendees. The hotel has an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center and dog-friendly conveniences.
