Best Western Hotels & Resorts has opened the Best Western Heartland Inn in Mattoon, Ill. The hotel is owned by Manny Patel and has 46 guestrooms and 14 suites.
The hotel recently underwent a $3.5-million renovation to modernize the style of the property and blend the colors throughout. Guestrooms have also been updated with new TVs, beds, décor, showers and vanities, in addition to microwaves and mini-fridges. Amenities on the property include an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness facility, business center and guest laundry facilities.
Best Western Heartland Inn will is close to several attractions and business hubs, including Eastern Illinois University, Lake Land College, the Coles County Memorial Airport and the local Amtrak station.
